Childcare in East London
Limehouse Day Nursery is the Docklands oldest nursery and for over 25 years has provided quality, affordable childcare for hundreds of children.
Time had took it's toll with the buildings so with £600,000 raised by the nursery and help from Tower Hamlets Council, SureStart and other local companies we reluctantly rebuilt the nursery. The result is far better than we expected, we now are able to cater for 95 children with 30 places for the under 2's. A new art room and computer suite enhances our pre school rooms and we have a bigger outside play area that can be used in all weather as it is partially covered by the archway.
Qualified and experienced staff at the nursery have been carefully selected to form a dedicated team to care for your child. Limehouse Day Nursery participates in a training program for nursery workers and many of our staff trained with us.
Regular outings and specialised sessional staff ensures a stimulating environment for children to grow in both mentally and physically. To further improve the quality at the nursery we now have a qualified teacher on the staff in pre-school. Our sessional staff teach dance, movement and sport.
CCTV in all areas and a high tech fingerprint door entry system ensure total security for your child.

Limehouse Day Nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday 7.00am – 7.00pm. We are closed Bank Holidays and for 1 week over the Christmas period.
